Essay of “Local Heritage”

あなたの大切なものは何ですか？地域を歩いていると、様々な「おやっ」　　「ほぉっ」と思わせてくれるものに出会います。よく見てみると、それらは地域の暮らしを教えてくれます。それらは、地域の人々が大切にしてきたものです。　現在、地域の行政と住民は、大切なものをどのように遺そうとしているのでしょうか。地域社会が考える遺したい文化や自然である「地域遺産」について、岩手県遠野市の事例を中心に考えてみたいと思います。

What is your important thing? Through fieldwork, I found a lot of interesting things and scenes in local areas. These show me the cultural life and local values. These would be called “Local Heritage.” How does local administration and local residents keep “Local Heritage”? My presentation will shows the administrative effort for keeping “Local Heritage” in the case of Tono City, Iwate Prefecture
