Utilization and conservation of Historical modern buildings

Generally, the first impression of “cultural heritage buildings” is temples and shrines in Kyoto and Nara. In fact, most of the “national treasure” and the “important cultural asset” are built before early modern period, and are protected by the government. Then, how are the “building that are blending into the current of our daily life.” How do we inherit such buildings and spaces in the future? The target of this lecture is talk about “importance and value” of the ordinary buildings around us.
