【Event outline】

Together with the queer politics, the politics of mainstream feminism has had a sex-positive view. Even though we should not miss the significance of it, however, we should not overlook the fact that it has made non-sexual ways of being invisible on its flip side. Rather, it should be understood that the system of compulsory sexuality is inseparable from (hetero-)sexism and cisgendersim, permeated in our lives, and that even the radical politics of sex is not immune from its influence.

In order to share such understandings with wider audience, this event aims to visualize the existence of asexual people who have fought against the system of compulsory (hetero-)sexism and to reconsider the society from asexual perspectives.
