Please join AMS (American Medical Society) and CGS for a special lecture from Dr. Matty Hemming, a researcher in the Medical Humanities at Rice University in Houston: "Writing Reproductive Injustice: Narrative Refusal and the History of Healthcare." Dr. Hemming's work is at the intersection of literary studies, feminist studies, history, and healthcare, and her lecture will concern her current book project on inequalities in reproductive healthcare in the US and the UK.
