Focusing on gender-transgressive representations of bodies in novels, films, and visual art, Halberstam's groundbreaking book, "In a Queer Time and Place" rethinks “time and space” from queer and trans perspectives. This book has finally been published in Japanese, and we are pleased to welcome the translator, Yuki Hanyu, to speak about what it means to talk about transgender lives. After the event, there will be a relaxed social gathering at CGS, so please feel free to join us.
