On Gender and Sexuality

Center for Gender Studies(CGS) publishes its journal, Gender and Sexuality, annually. The journal has a two-part structure: a Research Section featuring empirical research and theoretical studies in gender and sexuality and a Fieldwork Section offering information from the field with case studies by activists and reports on gender-related activities from both within and outside of Japan.
Through the publication of this journal, we hope to create an active forum that brings together specialists, scholars, and activists from a variety of fields.

Submission to Gender and Sexuality

Call for papers and research notes is conducted every year during the summer (Deadline for 20th issue of Gender and Sexuality is July 31st, 2024).

You can find the Journal Regulations in the latest issue of Gender and Sexuality. As of March 2023, Vol. 19th is the latest volume.
