ICU has been providing liberal arts education since its founding in 1953. Drawing on this great store of experience, ICU started its “Global Leadership Studies (GLS) Program” in 2011 as an intensive, all-English, residential program for tomorrow’s global leaders. GLS is a three-week summer program that runs from mid June to mid September. It is primarily designed for middle managers over the age of thirty who are expected to be global leaders. As such, they are required to have TOEIC scores of 700 and above. GLS also offers opportunities for international graduate students who have work experiences in order to bring diversity to the participants. There is an overall limit of thirty participants in order to ensure mutual communications between instructors and participants and among the participants themselves.
