The welcome reception for the incoming JDS fellows was held on July 2nd at the Tokyo International Centre, JICA Tokyo. 130 fellows from Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Kyrgyztan, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnamm were welcomed. Two fellows from China – Mr. Bian Zuodong and Mr. Yang Chengrui, two fellows from the Philippines – Mr. Exequiel C Cabanda and Mr. Eliseo Fermo Huesca, and two fellows from Vietnam – Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien and Mr. Vu Dinh Trung - will start their academic life at Division of Public Administration, Graduate School of ICU in September. They were excited to learn at ICU, and Prof. Omori, the chair of JDS Committee offered words of cheers to them. They will participate in the briefing orientation program and Japanese language training arranged by JICE before entering ICU.
