On 19 November, two members of Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training-Truong Thanh Hai and Tran Huong Ly-visited the ICU. Vietnam is a country to which JDS students are sent, and the county's two visitors met with ICU President Norihiko Suzuki, members of the JDS committee and faculty involved in working with the JDS program. Part of their meeting involved a tour of campus facilities as well as a mutual promise with the ICU to work together to further improve the program in the future. Vo Lam Thuy Trang and Le Anh Tuan, who are studying at the ICU through JDS, were also invited to the get together. A report was made on university life as well as on conditions for study and research.
