Application Schedule

March 15	Application deadline
Mid May	Official acceptance letter, housing information & applications, course offerings and other information and necessary documents for entrance procedures will be sent to the study abroad office of each school.
Mid June	Deadline for entrance procedures documents including Health Report and housing applications
Mid July	Dormitory applicants will be notified of decisions
Late July - Early August*	A document of "Certificate of Eligibility (COE)", which is necessary for applying for your student visa, will be sent to your university. COE itself is NOT a student visa. You need to go to a Japanese Consulate with this certificate to obtain your student visa. Please also refer to http://subsite.icu.ac.jp/sao/international/visa/status.html. (*For the Summer Course in Japanese participants, COE will be issued in late May.)
Early September	Matriculation ceremony, classes begin Detailed schedule will be sent to the accepted students in May. All exchange/invitee students must attend the Matriculation Ceremony and the orientation.
