●Residence (enrollment)
of, in principle, two years as a regular student in a
master's program in the ICU Graduate School.
●Completion during residence
of a minimum 30 units of courses in an area major with
a grade point average of 3.00 or above for all grade
received.
●Acquisition of candidacy status for the master's degree.
●Submission of the master's thesis upon completion of
the prescribed research guidance.
●Successful defense of passing the thesis evaluation and
the final examination.
Foundation Courses
The foundation courses are designed to provide students
of the Division of Education with basic knowledge
and understanding in the area of education. They
must take a minimum of 6 units in foundation courses
from two subject groups outside of their major.

Area Courses
Students must take at least 9 units out of their required
area courses; these must include 3 units from seminar
courses in the case of students whose major is other
than English Teaching. All Education students must
also take at least 15 units out of their elective area
courses.

●Completion of specific courses (not more than 15 units
out of the master's program), if assigned by the advisor.
●Acquisition of candidacy status for the doctorate.
●Approval of a study plan for the dissertation.
●Submission of the dissertation upon completion of prescribed
thesis guidance.
●Successful defense of the dissertation and the final examination. |
