Outline    ICU is a private, bilingual liberal arts university with an undergraduate College of Liberal Arts and graduate programs. ICU’s educational mission is based on Christian and democratic principles. ICU has 3,000 students from Japan and overseas. The university is located on a wooded campus in the suburbs of Tokyo.
   Department of Politics and International Relations is pleased to announce an open search for a full-time faculty position “Gender in Politics and International Relations.” The successful applicant should be expected to teach general education, foundation, area major as well as graduate courses. Courses to be taught may include: Japan’s International Relations, Gender and International Relations, and International Institutions.

Qualifications

1. Ph.D. or equivalent in political science, international relations, or a related field is required.
2. Language of instruction: English and Japanese
3. Commitment to the University’s Christian mission

Selection process After documentary screening, shortlisted candidates will be requested to give a lecture in English and to be interviewed.
Notification of decision Applicants will be notified by post.
