The Division of
International Studies of International Christian University invites
applications for a tenure track position in International Relations at the rank
of Assistant Professor or above with the responsibility for teaching
undergraduate courses in the field of International Law and International Organizations.
Ph.D. (or
equivalent academic credentials) in International Law or related fields is required, publications, teaching
experience and working experience in the United Nations system or other
international organizations preferred. Rank and salary are based upon
qualifications and experience.
The
Division is interested in an outstanding scholar of any specialty. It is
particularly interested in a specialist in the United Nations. Other
theoretical specialties could include international human rights and humanitarian law, public
international law, international organizations, and international
administration. Candidates willing to participate in the universityfs Christian
mission will receive preference. The ability to lecture in English is required.
