Division of Education at International Christian University (ICU) announces an opening of the position of instructor of clinical psychology by contractual appointment to serve from April 2007 to March 2010.

The candidate must have an interest as well as qualifications to supervise graduate level practicum in clinical psychology. His/her background must include clinical psychology, psychological tests comprising of projective techniques and developmental diagnostic tests.　 It is desirable that the candidate is competent in psychodynamic interpretation. Also it is desirable that he/she is competent in psychological tests in English as well as in Japanese.

The　 courses to be taught include: Practicum in Clinical Psychology, Basic Practicum in Clinical Psychology, Seminar in clinical Psychology Assessment I (Assessment by Interview Method), Seminar in Clinical Psychology Assessment II (Psychological Tests)

The starting date is April 1, 2007 for 3　 year contract to terminate on March 31, 2010.　 The successful candidate should be taking on supervision of counseling as well as general control of psychological tests.

Requirements: License in hand of Certified Clinical Psychologist as conferred by the Japanese Certification Board for Clinical Psychologist. Ten or more years of clinical experience or its equivalent. A candidate with five or more years of experience with superior academic background may be given consideration.
