Faculty Recruitment for the Division of Natural Sciences (Mathematics)
The Division of Natural Sciences of International Christian University invites applications for a tenure track position in the Department of Mathematics as follows:
Open position: one post at the rank of Assistant Professor or above
Initial date of appointment: April 1, 2007 or later
Deadline for applications: September 30, 2006. Screening will continue until a suitable applicant is found.
Subjects to
teach: Undergraduate courses, in Calculus,
Advanced Calculus,
Analysis including Mathematics for non-science major students, and
graduate
courses in the field of Mathematical Science.
Qualifications:
1. Ph.D. in Mathematics, active in research and having strong commitment to teaching and guiding students in mathematics
2. Fluency in English and/or Japanese, competent English with knowledge or willingness to learn Japanese
3. Commitment to Christianity
