Advanced English Courses
Two different classes are offered for students who have completed their ELP courses (or who have been excused from the ELP), but who still want more English language study. These two classes are offered in the winter term. A student may take one of the following classes:
Advanced English Study
This course will improve academic reading and listening skills, and increase vocabulary in order to help students do better on tests such as the TOEFL.
Advanced Speaking
This course teaches students how to give good presentations. Topics include individual and group presentations, impromptu speeches, summarizing, use of voice, eye contact, gestures, etc.
